David Alexander - David has taken on the role of local elder for the songwriting community and can be found most of the time surrounded by his "chicken pickers" out at the Chicken Farm Art Center on 1st Saturdays. David makes routine trips to Nashville scouting publishing opportunities and has an extensive library of original tunes. Jesse Ramirez - Jesse is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in guitar performance and is currently at North Texas University for a masters in guitar performance. The Concho Pearls - Vocal Quartet. Carol Smith, Linda Dowd, Kaye Marsh and Una Bee Miller make up this singing group. They perform patriotic, religious, and holiday music primarily. Call Carol at 325-658-1169 to set up an appearance!

The Ice House Brass Band - The Ice House Brass Band of San Angelo, Texas, is comprised of regular people from the local area. The Ice House Brass includes music styles: baroque, classical, swing, jazz, Dixieland, popular, hymns, patriotic, German folk songs, spirituals, light opera, Christmas, humorous, and special occasion music for weddings, marches and fanfares. Jazz Concho - John Irish, John Talley, Brian Tillman, and Jim Bode make up the heart of this great local jazz ensemble. These guys have played standards and melodic favorites at most every fundraiser or organization affiliated social gathering in San Angelo over the past few years and are always a pleasure to hear. San Angelo Community Band - The community band first recieved non-profit status in 1988. The San Angelo Community Band offers a creative outlet for amateur musicians of all ages. There are no "try outs" or auditions. Each member performs at a level that is comfortable for him or her.  As an all volunteer, non-profit organization, our goal is to provide an opportunity for our members to continue to use the skills that they worked hard to develop, and to provide the community with a series of open-air concerts. Kate Sanderson - Kate performs original music primarily and cites influences as: Chet Baker, KD Lang, Joni Mitchell etc. She sings songs often dark with shots of quirky humor. Ed Stabler
- Ed is a a singer, songwriter and fingerstyle guitar picker who got his start in the 1960's. He was nominated for 8 awards by the Academy of Western Artists in 1996 and has recorded 3 albums and is a familiar presence in the picking circles out at the Chicken Farm Art Center. T. Gozney Thornton & The Old Hat Band - T. Goz has been making music and writing songs for many decades. A product of the Austin Scene of the 70's, T. West Texas Jazz Orchestra - Spear-headed by jazz drummer and Irion County High School Director, Jim Bode, this large band (up to 18 members) presents swing and jazz classics to rave reviews. The orchestra is composed of a mixture of music teachers and other professional musicians, including ASU’s Dr. Ed Surface and Tim Bonenfant.

Roger Allen - There are few in San Angelo who do not know the founder of the famous Chicken Farm Art Center personally! He is also quite well-known across the country as a worker of clay. T.M. Gand - T.M. of Abilene, TX has a gallery in the historic downtown district there. Her work focuses on painting in highly textured layers. Originally a student in engineering in the early 90's, a chance art class and an enthusiastic professor changed her focus and the rest is history. T.M. won a merit award in 2008's Manhattan Arts International - "Celebrate Healing in Arts." Her work may be viewed via her website: www.tmgandfineart.com  

Crystal Goodman - Crystal Goodman is primarily known as a mural painter and active agent in San Angelo's Downtown facade improvement and restoration process. Many buildings downtown have been renewed thanks to her work. Goodman also devotes much time to working with children via workshops etc. Call 245-5141 or 944-3752 for more info.

Clay Hejl - Owner of Framework Gallery, Clay also creates his own original work recently including bronze sculpture. Max Hulse - Our friend and previous owner of Concho Gallery left us in a tragic plane accident, but his spirit lives on. Max Hulse began painting in 1985 and became well known for his work in oil (primarily in landscapes). His collections include corporate, museums, banks, and private individuals. He was a member of Oil Painters of America and co-founded the Texas Art Gallery in Dallas in the 1960's. Max was also seen regularly playing harmonica with local musicians. We miss you Max!

Pamela Gibreth Watkins - Of Buffalo Gap, TX works as a sculptor, painter, digital artist, and on and on. She has had works commissioned by many over the past 25 years including several state agencies. Priscilla Nicholson - Owner of Studio of the Arts (see studio/venue listing), Priscilla is a watercolor artist creating original paintings in subjectsof florals, people, animals and landscapes. Marsha Yoes - Marsha has recently built her own painting studio at 3714 Honeysuckle here in San Angelo [Call 944-8006 for an appointment]. Marsha teaches oils part time at ASU and has also taught in our local schools. Her work in Southwestern Oils has been shown all over West Texas including San Angelo National Bank and was cited by Governor John Connally during a special exhibit in Austin.
